Fears remain but some semblance of normalcy returns

A measure of calm seems to have descended on the island after a surge in panic buying last week sparked by the virus alert level being raised to orange.

It is still a mixed picture but a semblance of normality seems to be returning, with Singaporeans heading out to shopping malls, cafes and night spots.
