SINGAPORE – FairPrice shoppers can enjoy discounts on five popular supermarket house-brand products each week throughout a 12-week period from March 6 to May 28.
The FairPrice Group said in a statement on March 7 that the campaign is part of efforts to celebrate SG60 – Singapore’s 60th year of independence.
During the FairPrice Best Sellers for Less campaign, food and beverage staples, snack items, and kitchen and bathroom essentials under the supermarket giant’s house-brand labels will be on discount.
In the first week, FairPrice house-brand canola oil, Thai white fragrant rice, two-ply bathroom tissues, roasted chicken wings and tortilla chips will be on offer, with discounts of up to 36 per cent.
FairPrice Group chief executive Vipul Chawla said: “We want to repay the trust that Singaporeans have in our own brands by bringing the best of the range to even more in Singapore, ensuring that everyone has the essentials they need to celebrate SG60 together.”
There are now more than 3,500 FairPrice own-brand products – which are usually priced at 10 per cent to 15 per cent lower than other branded alternatives.
FairPrice own-brand labels include Golden Chef and Delicato.
