Erasing their tattoos to help young female offenders start afresh in life

SINGAPORE - Young offenders and other residents at the Singapore Girls' Home will get the chance for a fresh start with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) renting a laser tattoo remover to help the girls remove their unwanted tattoos for free.

Such procedures can cost thousands of dollars on the market, which social workers say many of the girls cannot afford.
