Constructive engagement on policy issues between the Government and civil society requires both parties to have a mutual respect for and willingness to listen to each other, said Minister for National Development Desmond Lee.
"This is the future of governance in Singapore," said Mr Lee in an interview with The Straits Times last week. "It is enshrined in Singapore Together. It is a commitment going forward to engage."
