PUB aims to make Singapore a global leader in coastal protection research

SINGAPORE - National water agency PUB will be setting up a nationwide programme to drive and coordinate coastal protection and flood management research here.

"PUB envisions the programme establishing Singapore as a leader in urban flood and coastal protection research, solutions and engineering services," the agency's deputy chief executive for policy and development Chua Soon Guan told The Straits Times on Tuesday night (April 19).
