Chinese New Year brings with it lots of food and drinks - and also waste such as plastic packaging for baked goods and leftovers from feasts.

But coming on the heels of Singapore's Year Towards Zero Waste drive last year, more businesses seem aware of the pressure of consumption on the planet, and are taking steps to curb wastage.
