SINGAPORE - The Kampong Java Park beside KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH) will be closed at the end of the month, to make way for the construction of the future North-South Corridor tunnel.

Signs put up around the park, which opened in 1973, said it will be permanently closed from Aug 28. It will be replaced by a facilities building that will be constructed as part of the corridor project, said the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
