Singapore has always taken pride in being green, and its latest City in Nature vision will further push the boundaries of the country's greening journey which began 60 years ago, said Minister for National Development Desmond Lee.
Founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew had, in the nation's infancy, initiated the drive to make Singapore a Garden City for pragmatic reasons - to attract investments and make the country more liveable for its inhabitants.
