SINGAPORE - Expect rain for the rest of the week, according to weather forecasts by the Meteorological Service Singapore.
There will be thundery showers from Tuesday to Friday (Jan 26 to 29), a four-day weather outlook stated on the National Environment Agency website.
Thundery showers were forecast for Tuesday in the late afternoon and evening. The temperature will be between 25 deg C and 33 deg C.
Afternoon thundery showers are expected from Wednesday to Friday. Temperatures are expected to be between 25 deg C and 34 deg C.
Winds are also relatively strong, at 15kmh to 30kmh on Tuesday and 10kmh to 20kmh the rest of the week.
The north-east monsoon period, which Singapore is experiencing now, sees stronger winds, mostly from the north-east.
Despite the wet days this week, less rainfall than normal is expected this January.
