Scientists and policymakers are studying ways to make the Republic's outdoor environment cooler, and earlier this week, the team from the Cooling Singapore research project unveiled 86 possible ways of doing so.

The measures range from the use of greenery and water bodies to reduce ambient temperatures to arranging buildings so that wind is better captured.
