SINGAPORE - Staff from the National Healthcare Group (NHG), together with students from the National University of Singapore (NUS), visited residents of the Society for the Aged Sick nursing home on Wednesday.
The 70 volunteers gave out oranges and Chinese New Year goodies to the 400 elderly residents of the Hougang Avenue 1 home, and even serenaded them with golden oldies.
The visit is the fourth such collaboration between NHG and NUS as part of the healthcare group's annual corporate social responsibility programme.
