SINGAPORE - Zaobao BaoZhi (ZBBZ), Singapore's only bilingual luxury lifestyle magazine, celebrated its facelift at the Shangri-La Hotel on Friday (April 8).

Introduced in 2009, the publication targets affluent individuals with an interest in Oriental culture and luxury.

The revamped magazine boasts a new logo, a simpler design and groups the pages into four sections.

The first, called Intelligence, will contain eight pages of monthly international news and lifestyle updates, including a section called Watchout, featuring collectible watches.

The second, In Focus, features stories based on a monthly theme, such as architecture, while the third, In Conversation, will profile significant personalities and includes an editor's interview.

The fourth, In Sight, covers trend reports on travel, cars and food, with an additional section called The Atelier, featuring photographs of crafts such as jewellery-setting and watch-making.

The magazine, a Singapore Press Holdings publication, boasts a new logo inspired by a Chinese seal, which reads ZBBZ vertically and horizontally.

"This reflects the bilingual and bi-cultural component of the magazine very well," ZBBZ managing editor Dr Ng King Kang said at the launch of the revamped magazine.

"The world is our stage but our roots are in Asia. We live, breathe and dream Asia."

He also said that the magazine will look at expanding its content to attract expats and travellers.
