SMU sets up office for victims of serious misconduct

University also plans to start new disciplinary policy in August to tackle issue of sexual misconduct on campus

The Singapore Management University (SMU) is setting up a dedicated office for victims of serious misconduct, including sexual offences, and starting a comprehensive module to educate students on consent and respect.

It will also start a new student disciplinary policy in August, when the new school term begins, to tackle the problem of sexual misconduct on campus.
