SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Education (MOE) announced on Tuesday (Oct 11) that it will be raising school fees for Singapore permanent residents (PR) and international students in government and government-aided schools.
The increase - part of the ministry's periodic review of school fees - will take effect from January next year.
This is to further differentiate fees by citizenship, MOE added in a press release. Fees for Singaporean students remain unchanged.
For Singapore PR students, they will have to pay $20 to $60 more per month. As for international students, their fees will go up by $20 to $150 monthly.
