SINGAPORE - The University of Portsmouth has teamed up with private education institute Kaplan Singapore to offer degrees in Forensic Computing and Software Engineering from December.
The former will help train computer forensics investigators, who can secure and examine digital evidence involving cyber crimes.
Kaplan said it is introducing these programmes to respond to a "growing market for such personnel to fight rising cybercrime".
Kaplan has also signed a memorandum of understanding with the EC-Council, the world's largest cyber security technical certification body, to incorporate several certified courses into its curriculum.
