Education on vaping harms important but enforcement is key: MPs

SINGAPORE - Universities should allow enforcement officers from the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and National Environment Agency (NEA) access to campus ground including hostels, to conduct forceful intervention and random checks to clamp down on vaping, MPs said.

Mr Yip Hon Weng (Yio Chu Kang) said there should also be a system of incentivised tip-offs in hostels by university staff and students.
