Now that we have a clear picture of the new electoral map, what do these changes mean as we head into a general election?

Synopsis: The Usual Place host Natasha Ann Zachariah hunts for new perspectives on issues that matter to young people.

The Electoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC) dropped its report on March 11, and here’s the gist: Boundaries of GRCs have been reshaped, new SMCs have been carved out, and more constituencies now have double-barrelled names.

Now that we have a clear picture of the new electoral map, what do these changes mean as we head into a general election?

To answer that question, Natasha speaks with former nominated Member of Parliament Eugene Tan, an associate professor of law at the Singapore Management University, and Straits Times senior political correspondent Tham Yuen-C.

Following the release of the report, Ms Tham wrote

a news analysis about the elaboration in the report by the committee

and the effect of the boundary changes.
