Moutbatten MP Lim Biow Chuan (fourth from right), along with representatives from the Singapore Tourism Board and the Old Airport Road (51) Merchants Association, watching musicians put on a show using pots, plastic barrels and other cooking ware at the Old Airport Road Food Centre yesterday. The event, which also saw the unveiling of an information panel on the history of the centre, was held as part of the Singapore Food Festival and celebrated the heritage of the venue that was built in 1973 and named after Singapore's first civilian airport.
