In the initial stage, cargo drivers arriving at the Woodlands (above) and Tuas checkpoints will be selected at random to be tested, said the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

From 9am today, mandatory antigen rapid testing for Covid-19 will be rolled out progressively for cargo drivers coming from Malaysia at land checkpoints before they enter Singapore. This is part of Singapore's strengthened border control measures to manage the risk of imported cases.
