Woman arrested after alleged knife attack at People’s Park Complex food stall

SINGAPORE - A 37-year-old woman was arrested after three people were injured in a knife incident at a food stall in Chinatown on March 19.
In response to queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they received calls for assistance at 1 Park Road – the address of People’s Park Complex – around 8.50pm.
Two men, aged 41 and 30, were taken to Singapore General Hospital conscious, while another man, aged 42, was assessed for minor injuries and declined to be taken to hospital, they added.
According to Chinese-language daily Lianhe Zaobao, the stall where the incident occurred sells cooked food. Two of the injured men reportedly work there.
The woman was arrested for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon. A chopper was seized as a case exhibit and investigations are ongoing.
