SINGAPORE - A subcontractor who stopped work after not being paid for eight months was held not liable for breach of contract by the High Court, based on the circumstances of the case.

DSL Integrated Solution, the main electrical contractor for a condo project contractor, had sued Triumph Electrical System Engineering for damages, claiming DSL had subcontracted part of the work on agreed terms.
