Police looking for man to help with investigations into loan shark harassment case

SINGAPORE - Police are looking for a man to help with investigations into a case of loan shark harassment reported at Block 1, Maude Road at Jalan Besar on Monday.

The man was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. He was also carrying a black sling bag.

Anyone with information can call the Police Hotline at 1800-255 0000 or submit information online at www.police.gov.sg/CrimeStopper. All information will be kept confidential.

In a separate case, police have arrested a 43-year-old man at Bukit Batok Central for his suspected involvements in loansharking activities.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect is believed to be a debtor-turned-runner, who assisted a loanshark syndicate to procure Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards and Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) from other debtors.
