SINGAPORE - A man was in a unit at Marina One Residences on April 16 when he allegedly possessed a vape device containing a cannabis-related substance.
Harting Chitty Harold Ivan, 35, is also accused of having chocolate laced with psilocin – a compound found in psychedelic mushrooms – at the unit in Marina Way, near Bayfront Avenue, on the same day.
On Sept 15, he was handed six charges for drug-related offences.
Court documents stated that the American man had allegedly consumed cannabis on or before April 16.
He is also accused of trying to obtain nine vape devices and six of them contained a cannabis-related substance.
His case will be mentioned again in court on Oct 13.
If convicted of cannabis consumption, he can be jailed for between one and 10 years, and fined up to $20,000.
An offender convicted of being in possession of a vape device containing a cannabis-related substance can be jailed for up to 10 years and fined up to $20,000.
