SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a man who assaulted a Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) officer on Nov 6.
According to MSF, the man was visiting the Social Service Office at Toa Payoh to apply for financial assistance.
He assaulted the female officer when she was interviewing him to understand his financial situation better.
The incident was reported to the police immediately, and the man was arrested.
The officer received treatment at a hospital for her injuries and has since resumed work.
