SINGAPORE - A former managing director of a failed luxury jet operator, who has been charged with cheating
Cassidy Geoffery Owen, 37, was charged on Nov 13 with offences including drink driving and driving without due care and attention.
He was earlier handed more than 30 charges in October 2022 for offences such as cheating and criminal breach of trust.
The police had said earlier that he allegedly misappropriated more than $11 million from Zetta Jet, where he was a managing director between 2015 and 2017.
For his current case, Owen is accused of consuming alcohol before he drove a car along Holland Road shortly before midnight on April 11, 2025.
After his car allegedly side-swept another car that was travelling on his left, he is said to have failed to stop his car to render assistance.
Later, he was allegedly found to have at least 74 micrograms (mcg) of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, which is more than double the prescribed limit of 35 mcg of alcohol in the same amount of breath.
Owen’s pre-trial conference will be held on Feb 9, 2026.
