An Australian appeal court has ordered a rehearing over whether the divorce-linked issues of an expatriate couple should be heard in a Singapore or Melbourne court.
The three-judge appeal panel ruled that the primary family justice court judge in Melbourne had erred in ordering that the case be heard there and also that the Singapore-based wife stop divorce proceedings she had started in Singapore's Family Justice Courts (FJC) in 2019.
