SINGAPORE - A cyclist died after a fatal accident with a car in Tampines on the morning of Feb 10.
The family of the victim is appealing for witnesses or footage of the accident, according to a post put up on social media platform Xiaohongshu by a user who identified themself as a family friend.
In response to queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident, which occurred along Tampines Avenue 9 towards Tampines Avenue 2, at around 7.45am.
The 61-year-old cyclist was unconscious when he was taken to Changi General Hospital, where he later died.
The driver, 47, was arrested for driving without reasonable consideration causing grievous hurt, said police, adding that investigations are ongoing.
