SINGAPORE - Four adults and three children were taken to hospital after a four-car chain collision took place in Sheares Avenue on Saturday evening (June 2).
A black Audi car flipped over and was found overturned on its back just before an Electronic Road Pricing gantry in Sheares Avenue, next to Marina Bay Sands hotel.
A silver car was also damaged on one side, with its left front tyre punctured. A group of young adults was seen waiting by the side of the road.
The police said they were alerted to an accident involving four cars in Sheares Avenue, in the direction of Central Boulevard, at about 7.30pm.
Four adults, aged between 24 and 30, were taken to Singapore General Hospital and three children, aged four and six, were taken to KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), who was alerted to a call for ambulance assistance around the same time, said that all of them were conscious and in stable condition.
The Straits Times understands that the silver car, a Toyota, was attempting to change lanes at the time when it was hit by the black Audi from the side.
Police investigations are ongoing.
