SINGAPORE - Seven people were arrested for suspected drug-related offences after a four-hour joint enforcement blitz on Wednesday (Dec 9).
The Singapore Police Force and Central Narcotics Bureau operation, which was supported by Singapore Civil Defence Force officers, saw checks conducted at public housing estates and entertainment outlets in Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Serangoon and Punggol.
Nine packets or approximately 10g of "Ice", one straw of heroin and other drug paraphernalia were seized.
In addition, two public entertainment outlets were found to be operating without a valid licence, and one had a fire safety violation.
