SINGAPORE – Four men are slated to face charges on Sept 23 in separate molestation cases involving minors.

The youngest victim is an eight-year-old girl, according to a press release by the Singapore Police Force on Sept 22.

She was allegedly molested by a 33-year-old man on June 12. He was arrested by the police on June 18.

Further investigations revealed that the man also allegedly molested the child on another occasion in 2025. He faces four counts of outrage of modesty against a person below 14 years of age.

Separately, a 36-year-old man and a 68-year-old man each face one count of the same offence.

The 36-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly molested a 12-year-old girl at a supermarket in Hougang Street 21 on June 25.

The 68-year-old man is said to have molested a 13-year-old boy on a public bus on Nov 5, 2024. He was arrested the next day.

In the fourth case, a 67-year-old man was arrested on April 13, after he allegedly molested a 15-year-old girl at the lift lobby of a residential block. The man also allegedly used criminal force on her at the same location in January.

The man is slated to be charged with one count of outrage of modesty and one count of criminal force.

In addition to the four men, five others are also due to be charged on Sept 23 in separate cases of outrage of modesty. They include a 43-year-old man accused of molesting a 33-year-old man at a gym in Market Street on Oct 21, 2024.

Police said victims should move away from the perpetrator and make a report immediately when it is safe to do so.

They should also try to note key details, such as the perpetrator’s physical appearance, clothing, and the time and location of the incident.

The public should remain vigilant, especially in crowded areas, said the police.

Anyone who sees a person being molested should report the incident immediately to the police, as this can deter the perpetrator, provide crucial witness accounts, and help the police catch the suspect quickly.
