SINGAPORE - About 600 warnings were issued last year to online retailers for failing to ensure that the household appliances they sell to consumers in Singapore comply with safety regulations here.
This is six times the number of warnings issued in 2019, even as more people turned to online sellers amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
