Malls here packed with shoppers

The weekend before Christmas saw people out and about doing their last-minute shopping.

While people were masked up, many malls and shops were crowded, checks by The Straits Times found. Retailers reported brisk sales amid the increased footfall while safe distancing officers were on the ground to remind shoppers to observe the rules.
