Airfares for year-end school holiday period up to 78% more than before pandemic

Airfares from Singapore have risen by up to 78 per cent more for the December school holidays this year, compared with the same period before the Covid-19 pandemic.

This comes even as ticket prices to some destinations such as Japan and Taiwan have dropped when compared with September.
