Water from the fifth-floor infinity pool of a condominium in Whampoa came raining down yesterday afternoon, after a row of glass panels in front crashed to the ground.
The glass panels, on the outside of the swimming pool wall at Cradels condo, act as a safety barrier around the pool.
There were no reports of injury.
Passers-by said they heard a loud noise when the panels fell at about 2.30pm.
Workers spent the entire afternoon sweeping up the water and clearing the debris on the ground floor of the condo.
The entire fifth storey as well as the affected area below the fallen glass panels have since been closed off in the interest of public safety.
