SINGAPORE - Disputes over Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) matters have seen family members clash over how the mentally incapacitated person's finances and care arrangements are managed.

The LPA is a legal document which allows an individual to appoint one or more guardians to make decisions on his behalf if he should lose his mental capacity.
