President of Girl Guides Singapore Chang Hwee Nee (centre), who was at Bedok Secondary School, and more than 5,000 members of the Girl Guides Singapore got together yesterday in their north, south, east and west divisions to mark World Thinking Day.
They celebrated international friendship, learnt about and took action on important issues, and raised funds. Every Feb 22, more than 10 million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts celebrate the event globally.
In Singapore, special activities such as a selfie competition, quilt making and an international costume parade were held.
