A 12m-tall steel structure collapsed onto an unoccupied temporary workers' quarters during heavy rain yesterday.
No one was injured in the accident, which took place next to an HDB construction site in Tengah. The Housing Board has stopped all work at the site, and is working with the Ministry of Manpower to establish the cause of the accident.
