SINGAPORE - A car that caught on fire caused a jam on the Central Expressway (CTE) on Wednesday afternoon (Feb 17).

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that it was alerted at around 4.20pm and dispatched two fire engines and two fire bikes to the scene near the CTE's Jalan Bahagia exit, towards the Seletar Expressway.

The fire was extinguished using two compressed air foam backpacks and two water jets. No injures were reported, the SCDF said.
