Car driver, 39, assisting with investigation after collision with van in Choa Chu Kang

The car driver is assisting with investigations.

The police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1 and Choa Chu Kang Way on Dec 20.

SINGAPORE – The drivers of a car and a van were taken to hospital after their vehicles collided at a junction in Choa Chu Kang on Dec 20.

The police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1 and Choa Chu Kang Way at about 2.40pm.

The car driver, a 39-year-old man, and the van driver, a 63-year-old man, were taken conscious to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, said the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

The car driver is assisting with investigations, the police added.

A video posted on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page on Dec 25 shows a white van colliding with the driver’s side of a red car at a junction.

The impact of the collision sends the rear of the red car onto the road divider before it comes to a stop.
