Call for eyewitnesses for fatal Bukit Timah Road accident

SINGAPORE - The police are appealing for eyewitnesses for a fatal traffic accident that happened on Sunday morning.

A 33-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in the accident along Bukit Timah Road near Balmoral Road on early Sunday morning.

The rider, whose identity was not released by the police, was believed to have lost control of his motorcycle. No other vehicle was involved in the accident.

The police said that it received a call about the accident at 7.20am.

A police spokesman told The Straits Times: "The male motorcyclist was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene."
