For the last 2½ years, Bukit Panjang LRT has been operating only in one direction during the off-peak hours.

SINGAPORE - Mr Hong Xi Ang, 34, bought a flat in Fajar in Bukit Panjang last year, selecting it for its closeness to Fajar LRT station.
But the prolonged reduced operations of Bukit Panjang LRT means he has not been able to take the LRT to get to parts of the neighbourhood that previously would have just been one or two stations away, he said.
