SINGAPORE – Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, who is also Finance Minister, will deliver Singapore’s Budget 2025 statement at 3.30pm on Feb 18 in Parliament.

Titled Onward Together For A Better Tomorrow, this year’s Budget will be one that involves all Singaporeans, said PM Wong in a Facebook post on Feb 17.

It will also advance Singapore’s plans for a “stronger and more united society”, as outlined in the Forward Singapore report, he said.

Initiated by the fourth-generation leadership, the report charts a road map to a more equitable and thriving Singapore, and fleshes out the moves the Republic will make in the coming years to stay cohesive amid a time of change.

This will be PM Wong’s first Budget as prime minister, and he will likely address concerns such as the cost of living and job security.

He had earlier announced four broad themes that will be covered.

These are economic strategies for the next bound; opportunities for skills upgrading and jobs for workers; support for Singaporeans across different life stages; and strengthening Singaporeans’ sense of solidarity and unity as the country marks SG60.

The Straits Times will provide live coverage of the event.
