SINGAPORE – Members of BTS fan club Army can “keep swimming” – in fan parlance – to a special vinyl edition of the band’s latest album, Arirang, ahead of the group’s 13th anniversary.
The K-pop boy band’s agency BigHit Music said on June 1 that the vinyl will be released on June 12, one day before BTS celebrate the 13th anniversary of their debut.
The new edition includes the 14 tracks from Arirang, along with voice messages featuring conversations among the seven members centred on the question: “What is your love song?”
It will also include a Korean version of Normal, the ninth track in Arirang.
The release date may vary by country and region because of the extended production time required for vinyl records, BigHit Music said.
Pre-orders opened at 11am South Korean time (10am Singapore time) on June 2.
BTS are now on their Arirang world tour and are set to perform at the National Stadium in Singapore on Dec 17, 19, 20 and 22.
