SINGAPORE - Some 389 hand-painted tote bags were put together to create a collage, the largest of its kind here, on Friday (March 10).
The feat, accomplished by 270 students, as well as 150 teachers and staff from Awwa School, was recorded in the Singapore Book of Records and marked the school's 38th anniversary.
The collage measured 7.6m by 5.5m.
Awwa School, established in 1979, is one of the 20 special education schools appointed by the Ministry of Education. It educates students aged seven to 18 years old with autism and multiple disabilities.
