SINGAPORE - This week's debates on ministries' budgets brings into focus the topic of public subsidies. Not entirely new, but worth mulling over nonetheless.
For public transport, Transport Minister Ong Ye Kung on Friday (March 5) reminded the House that government subsidies amounted to around $2 billion a year.
