SINGAPORE - At least one man has died in an accident involving a lorry at Yishun Avenue 1 on Sunday morning.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) dispatched six ambulances to the accident site in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Six men were conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, of whom four sustained serious injuries.
One suffered a pelvic injury, two had head injuries and one suffered a traumatic arrest - his heart had stopped due to accident-related injuries.
SCDF said another victim had chest and leg pains while one had back pain.
One of the victims succumbed to his injuries, police said.
A male driver was arrested for causing grevious hurt by a rash act, a police spokesman added.
It is understood that the lorry slid due to wet weather and hit a tree.
