SINGAPORE - Subscribers to The Straits Times will get a special present to mark SG60 and the publication’s 180th anniversary, which falls on July 15.

The Straits Times is giving $180 worth of FairPrice vouchers to those who sign on to a two-year contract.

New subscribers, as well as existing subscribers without an ongoing contract, are eligible for this deal.

They will also get complimentary access to SPH Media titles Lianhe Zaobao, Berita Harian and Tamil Murasu for one month.

This offer also comes as Singapore commemorates its 60th birthday on Aug 9, and SPH Media celebrates the role of its home-grown titles in telling and shaping the nation’s story.

Said ST managing editor Murali Subramaniam: “We wanted to thank our subscribers for their loyalty, and this deal is one of the best we’ve ever given for a subscription promotion. We also hope our many casual readers will now choose to get the best of ST on a daily basis.”

The offer applies to new subscribers as well as existing subscribers without a contract, provided they sign on to a 24-month contract.

ST’s all-digital subscription costs $29.90 a month. This allows readers to access four devices concurrently, as well as read an unlimited number of premium articles. They can also personalise their newsfeed on the app and access the e-paper.

To mark its 180-year milestone, ST recently launched its new website and app to offer readers a smarter, richer digital experience.

Subscribers who would like to receive a daily print copy of the newspaper can also opt to do so, with an additional $3 to $5 delivery fee per month, based on their type of residence.

To subscribe, readers can visit https://stsub.sph.com.sg/st180-sg60 or contact SPH Media’s customer service officers on 6388-3838.
