Alibaba takes down child sex doll listings

An Alibaba spokesman said Alibaba.com maintains a "robust product listing policy" that prohibits the advertising by third-party sellers of any items depicting or suggesting sex involving minors.

Major e-commerce player Alibaba.com has removed child sex doll listings from its online platform, following queries by The Straits Times.

Among the things that were flagged to Alibaba were listings of dolls that were unmistakably toddler-like as well as advertisements that touted dolls as "young" and "flat-chested".
