It was a rainy night on Sept 30, 2022, and Ms Sarah de Lagarde was on her usual London Underground commute – one she had taken without a second thought for more than 20 years.
Tired after a long day as a communications executive, she fell asleep on the train and missed her stop. Rushing to get home, she made a decision that would cleave her life into a stark “before” and a devastating “after”.
