SINGAPORE - The baby boy found abandoned in a rubbish chute in a Bedok North Housing Board block is in stable condition in hospital, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) said in an update to The Straits Times.

The baby was found by a cleaner on Jan 7 in a blood-stained plastic bag which was tied up and lying among bags of rubbish in the bin.
